He knows to his core that Randy won’t challenge him, won't call for help. Benson doesn’t really have to consider whether he’s setting himself up by being near a phone or an open field. It's not about waiting for justice or that gibberish about "being a man." The control that Benson has over Randy as they drive around is not asserted by a smart plan but rather the dominating sense of power Randy has seceded. Much of the movie relies on their odd pairing after such an abhorrent opening scene and in place of any greater tension. ![]() “Pasażerka” contains feature and visual references to Wanda Jakubowska's “Ostatni etap”.Benson and Randy are incredibly striking contrasts as these nightmarish characters, intriguing conceits of this Blumhouse project not sticking to the rules in part because it's going straight to the modern grindhouses of streaming anyway. Now she recognizes her victim in the passenger of the ship. Over the years Liza was convinced that Marta, the only witness of her crime, died in Auschwitz. The SS officer did not even hesitate to send the entire squad to the penal company, which in practice meant a death sentence. To this end, she planned to use Marta’s feelings for her fiancé. Irritated with the prisoner’s attitude, Liza decided to break the woman at all costs, turning her into an ideal slave. She chose Marta, a proud and unyielding Polish woman, to be her help. During World War II, the German woman was a guard in the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp. The last picture of the prematurely deceased Andrzej Munk, an excellent director of feature and documentary films, who, next to Andrzej Wajda, was the most prominent representative of the Polish Film School. A shocking work with a remarkable and tragic story.
